Conversations on the phone plus a face-to-face meeting in XXXX branch office XX/XX/year>. On that date I was given paper print-outs which verified my complaint. Today I phoned and was told no more time would be given to me. I persisted about why one CD earned interest in the 2nd quarter, XX/XX/year>, while the other one did not. The reply was that it was a mistake and that the interest would be removed. CD # XXXX " manually renewed XX/XX/year>, {$16000.00}. '' Interest to be compounded daily & posted quarterly. No interest earned or posted on XXXX CD # XXXX " new account deposit '' on XX/XX/year>, {$64000.00}. Interest payment XX/XX/year> {$170.00}. This is the interest " mistake '' that the bank employee will remove. I has asked branch employees what is a quarter. " It varies. '' " I don't know. '' " Ask ____. ". Also, I have no quarterly statements for XXXX CD 's. I bank online, but was told that statements have to be mailed. I protested, but I was told the only way to prevent mailings was to " suppress '' the statements. I agreed at the time, but now regret it because I realized that I had been fooled- I need quarterly statements. The bank will not provide statements online for me. XXXX time, the branch manager kept saying to me " you don't want anything online, '' and I repeatedly said " I want everything online ''.
