My federal student loan servicer is mohela. There was a transition of mohela so they would have more oversight by federal student loan agency. Now my same debt is showing up twice in my credit report. One reported at " federal student loan '' and once reported by " mohela ''. I contacted XXXX and they stated I must reach out to the company reporting directly. I contacted federal student loans dept and they stated they do not report to the credit bureau and only my servicer reports. I can only assume that mohela was reporting and continues to report an that now under the new agency they created they are also reporting. My debt to income ratio is impacted as this doubles my debt prevent in g me from moving on with financial transactions that would typically be approved by a bank but are currently not. I have notified Mohela about the problem. Mohela is not rectifying the issue despite my account being completely transferred to their new platform 3 months ago.
