I have submitted 4 applications for the XXXX issued by Goldman Sachs. In each submission I have been asked to provide an image of my drivers license. While inconvenient, I understand fraud procedures in general. Typically this is not requested when my application XXXX elements match my credit report ( which they do ). After the third application denial, I called to understand why this was happening. After speaking with the specialist she first asked if I have been a victim of fraud in the pat. I have, and I made them aware of that situation and that I previously had my credit blocked, but had since removed that block. She informed me that she had appropriately notated my file and asked me to resubmit the application a 4th time, and assured it would not be a problem, I complied, only to be denied again because Goldman Sachs could not verify my ID. I have been erroneously denied credit, which is an ECOA violation.
