On XX/XX/XXXX, I received an alert that my HELOC card was trying to be used at store and that my card was being blocked. I reached out to Bank of America around XX/XX/XXXX and advised that it wasnt me who attempted the transaction. After logging into the account ; I noticed I couldnt see any of the transactions done on the card through the mobile app. Once I was able to get to my computer ; I noticed 5 other fraudulent charges that happened on my card. On XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke with an agent who said he had filed a dispute for the charges. After he did that he transferred me to the fraud department of the HELOC where I spoke to a woman who also stated that she disputed the charges. I call back the next day because I seen that the fraud alert was still attached to my account when I attempted to login. When I spoke to the rep XXXX, he advised me that he couldnt see any open or closed disputes on my account. Ive been told now around 4 times over the span of week an excuse why this bank isnt doing their job in removing the fraud block on my account and actually disputing the fraudulent charges. I have been told people will call me back and to no avail. Im at the point of wanting to get a lawyer involved for the TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES being committed by a bank that is supposed to protect me and my account against fraud. Also, havent received a notification of a new card being sent even though I sent a signed a letter with my DL and social security card attached requesting a new one. If this situation isnt rectified within the next 72 hours ; I will have no other choice but to start legal proceedings.
