On XX/XX/XXXX I had went to Citi bank on XXXX XXXX XXXX and withdrew XXXX dollars from my savings account via ATM, I arrived there at XXXX and I was having trouble placing my card in the ATM, a older guy gestured me to use the ATM it seemed like he just used I was unable to place my card in that ATM as well, he then grabbed my card and hit contact less, he gave me back a card that I thought was mine, I took my money put it away and left. A little after XXXX I realized I had the wrong card and returned to the bank, I had not realized that at XXXX a teller withdrawal came out of my account for XXXX dollars, I have completely complied with the investigation and sent my police report to the team. I am a college student and I asked the customer service multiple times for a provisional credit they stated once I signed the affidavit, I signed it explaining that my card was swiped out and I have no clue how this man got my PIN number, I was told that I cant get a credit because it was teller withdrawal, I was hung up on twice in one day by Citi bank representatives in the fraud department. I have been ran all over the place I feel like its not being taken seriously because of me being a minority, I changed banking institutions because I no longer feel like my money is safe, I have been with that bank close to 5 years and I have been treated awful in this situation, I have had to resort to using my credit card to purchase books for my upcoming semester its just horrible. I call for updates they are saying the investigation can take up to 90 days one day 60 another its very frustrating. Please look into this on my behalf. Thank You
