On XX/XX/year>, while on vacation abroad, I received a phone call from someone alleging to be from Citibank, telling me there was unauthorized activity on my account. I was informed that there was a pending {$5000.00} charge, through XXXX. While I did not provide any information as to passwords, etc, the person in the other side had access to all my account information, including my social security number. When I saw the XXXX removed from my balance, as I was looking at my balance throughout the call, and they began to ask me to make another charge to reverse the payment, I hung up and called Citibank. A dispute was immediately filed. On XX/XX/year>, I received a letter from Citibank informing me that my dispute was denied because their investigation determined that I made the charge myself, which is completely untrue.
