On Sunday, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I made an electronic transfer from my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX checking account, ( Do you have to have the account number? ) in the amount of {$310.00} to my checking account at Chase Bank. XXXX received the electronic transfer on Monday, XX/XX/XXXX, but failed to post the transfer until Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX. Chase was holding my electronic transfer for longer than was necessary, and for longer than their own policy says. I spoke with XXXX different Chase employees about releasing the hold on Wednesday, but the Chase employees all refused to help me. Each of them told me that some different department handles that. It's not my problem, and to " Live with it. '' I am closing all of my Chase accounts because of this. It's probably illegal to hold electronic transfers for more than XXXX business days.
