I had a XXXX done in XXXX. I was not notified that this was out of network. My insurance was billed and the maximum allowed amount was {$230.00}- which was paid 12 months later I received a collections notice and several calls about an outstanding balance of {$1300.00}. I tried calling several times and finally spoke to someone named XXXX XXXX? ) that told me she could see the payment and that she'd remove this. Then I heard nothing for 2 years. Now suddenly they are calling me again ( Clear Management Solutions ) about an outstanding bill for {$1300.00} Within 30 days of receiving that notice I left Clear Management a voicemail disputing the charge. 60 days later they started calling me trying to collect it again. When I told them my rights, they seemed confused and then threatened to send me to an outside collections agency who would charge me a 20 % fee.
