Chase Bank closed all of my Credit Card accounts... XXXX were business cards and XXXX was a personal XXXX XXXX. This concern and issue is on personal Card in which I was assessed a fee, I paid a fee and the Account was closed by the Bank ( no reason given when I called to inquire ). All they said was it is Bank Policy and we can not share any additional details. The Bank charged a {$550.00} annual fee for this XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/2023 and XXXX months later closed this account without a reason ... and they kept the full fee! How is this right and legal? Open a card, charge a fee, the fee is paid in full by the customer, and then you close the account a few months later and keep the full fee. Sounds like a dishonest business model. Can a Bank charge and collect a credit card annual fee and then close the Account a few months later ( with no reason given aside from the fact that they can do whatever they want to ) ... and keep the full annual fee? This needs a CFPB review ... and JPMC Chase should be required to process at least a partial refund of card fees paid. My credit card was not delinquent, I had a XXXX balance, and my XXXX score is XXXX. And I never have had a late payment with Chase ( or anyone else ). Ever! I have called the Bank several times in good faith... and their team is not helpful in resolving the situation. Hence my turn to the CFPB process.
