Consumer Narrative
I recertification my income and family size early at the behest of Mohela. My payment went up as a result. Per Ed Department it should go down since the deadline was extended. https : //studentaid.gov/announcements-events/idr-recertification-extended Mohela had not done this and now says they will not unless they are ordered to by FAFSA. I spoke with XXXX at Mohela on XXXX and he said they would return me to my old payment and then repay any overage. I spoke with XXXX today ( XXXX ) and she said not only will they not repay the overages, they will not follow the guidance put out by the Ed Department .
