On XXXX XX/XX/year>, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, responded to my claim and pointed finger and implicated USAA in the direct involved in why my account was short {$720.00} on the return of my international wire transfer! I have yet to get a good response as to why ( I ) the consumer is missing {$720.00} when there wasnt any changes in the exchange rate over the period. I have contacted USAA several times and still they have t confirmed the discrepancy while gaslighting me in believing the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX took extraordinary rates. USAA and or XXXX XXXX, owes me an explanation as to what charges or exchange rate that led to my account being shorted {$720.00}. During the transaction with USAA, and the receipt that I received only showed USD. I did tell the agent that I want to send USD to make up the equivalent of the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX This is the response from XXXX XXXX. I just want my money bank from whichever institution that took it. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX USAA instructed XXXX to pay out XXXX XXXX to wire instructions at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX using an agreed upon XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX on XXXX. USAA advised XXXX to pay out JMD so we acted on their instructions accordingly. The payment was returned to XXXX in the amount of XXXX JMD with a reason of incorrect currency. XXXX reached out to USAA advising of the payment rejection and USAA requested the USD funds be returned to themselves. In line with our procedures, funds were converted from JMD back to USD at the market rate. USD XXXX was returned to USAA on XXXX. XXXX followed agreed upon procedures with USAA and originally acted off their instructions as intended. I would recommend working with USAA directly to be reimbursed for the difference if you feel XXXX should not have been advised to pay out in JMD.
