Portfolio Recovery Associates Disclosed my debt and personal information directly to a relative of mine that I live with. I used the card of a relative to pay a debt they received verbal authorization to charge my relative card and all was good until they sent out a letter with my relatives name about my debt all of the creditors information. It is my understanding under law collection agency can not share debt to anyone besides me why does that change after Ive settled my account with them.
