Mohela inappropriately coerced many into early recertification of income, despite federal guidance. My plan was inappropriately changed from the Pay as You Earn Plan ( PAYE ) to a standard repayment plan following my recertification. Following federal guidance about recertification and payments reverting to previous amounts ( https : //studentaid.govXXXX XXXX, I called Mohela in XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX to ask that they 1 ) place me back on my requested IDR plan ( PAYE ) AND to revert payments back to amount paid in XX/XX/2024, again, per federal guidance. Each phone call, I was assured that these errors would be fixed in a timely fashion. Six months later, no change has been made on my account regarding either of these errors. These errors significantly impact my chance of achieving public service loan forgiveness, and immediate attention would be so appreciated.
