I had a citizens account that was inactive for around 2 months and they closed it without notice. As I wasn't aware of the account closure I sent myself a quick pay on XX/XX/year> from my chase account ending in XXXX to that account in the amount of {$40.00}. I got right away a bounce back that it was canceled but with out a reason, so I tried again and it went through. Now when I tried logging in to my citizens account I saw that it was closed due to inactivity and I have no way to access those funds. I reached out to chase and they told me that the zelle was processed on their end and the receiving bank accepted it so I need to call citizens. As I called them and filed a XXXX complaint with them, they told me that they can't return it, without XXXX asking them to do so. So here I am.
