I disputed a transaction from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX FL that was made on XX/XX/year> in the amount of {$290.00}. Citi closed the dispute stating that the merchant already gave me a credit for this transaction. I contacted Citi seven times, explaining each time that the credit issued was for a different transaction that was made on XX/XX/year>, and that credit was issued on XX/XX/year>. The disputed charge was made on XX/XX/year>, twenty days AFTER the credit was issued for the prior charge. I have called Citi twice, chatted on their website twice, and sent three emails. That is a total of SEVEN times I have contacted Citi about their mistake, and the charge is still on my account. I even sent Citi the return confirmation for the XX/XX/XXXX charge, proving I am entitled to my refund, and they still have not re-opened this dispute. This is a common occurrence with Citi, and it should not be tolerated.
