I opened an account with XXXX and 10 days later, I applied for another account. Before doing so, I spoke to two people who said that there wouldn't be another Chex inquiry since the first account was recently opened. However, there was another inquiry for the XXXX account. I contacted both Chex and XXXX and XXXX said that they're unable to remove it themselves. They suggested that I contact Chex. The attached chat confirms that the XXXX rep told me, " the chex inquiry is good for 30 days. After 30 days we will have to do another one. '' When I contacted Chex about this, I explained and the rep confirmed that it shouldn't be on my report if they said that they wouldn't do another inquiry. However, after their investigation, it was deemed valid. Either Chex didn't reach out to XXXX or XXXX didn't look into the issue. I contacted Chex again and their notice said that my claim was " is considered frivolous or irrelevant. ''
