On, or around, XX/XX/XXXX, XXXXChase bank released a targeted offer to select cardholders. According to this offer, select customers could earn up to XXXX bonus points ( valued at approximately {$100.00} at a rate of $ XXXX ) by booking a trip through chase travel. While the original offer page from Chase is no longer available, the following website notes the offer details XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ... targeted cardmembers can earn XXXX bonus points if they book at least two Chase Travel components with their eligible credit card consisting of both a hotel stay plus a flight, cruise or car rental '' " Cardmembers can earn an additional XXXX bonus points when booking XXXX or more travel components, including an additional hotel stay, cruise or car rental. '' " If they have not made any purchases through the Chase Travel portal since XX/XX/XXXX, cardmembers will earn an additional XXXX points, so a possible XXXX points in total for booking at least three travel elements through the portal. This bonus can only be earned once per cardmember during this promotion. On XX/XX/XXXX, I booked a trip consisting of XXXX travel components ( per the requirements ) totaling {$240.00}. The trip consisted of a XXXX night hotel reservation in XXXX Oregon for XX/XX/XXXX, and a 3 Day Car rental for XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. The purchase was completed on XX/XX/XXXX ( Which falls between the requisite XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX requirement ) and the trip was completed on XX/XX/XXXX ( Prior to the XX/XX/XXXX Requirement ). Thus, the trip fulfilled the XXXX component booking required for the extra XXXX points. Additionally, as this was the first time I had ever booked a trip through Chase Travel, I should have been eligible for the additional XXXX points as I had not made any purchases through the Chase XXXX XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX. In all, the trip purchase should have granted XXXX bonus points ( XXXX for XXXX components + XXXX for no purchase since XX/XX/XXXX ). On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted Chase customer support via phone to inquire about the points as I had not seen them posted to my account. I was initially informed that I was ineligible because I had only booked XXXX trip-however this was not the criteria. The only criteria was the number of components which I had satisfied. I escalated and spoke with a Supervisor who said I would be contacted by mail with the result of their findings ( whatever they might be ). I asked for a reference number of some other way to identify my particular request/situation and was denied. As of XX/XX/XXXX I have had no communication from Chase in any form in reference to the issue.
