I had identity theft and now Chase refuses to refund my money. On XX/XX/year>, a woman had enough of my personal information and was able to call Chase to order a debit card in my name. She got the debit card shipped to an unfamiliar residential address, then picked up the card on XX/XX/year>. On XX/XX/year>, proceeded to spend my money with various vendors. She spent about {$3200.00} total, between withdrawals and debit card purchases. I was able to find the owner of the address the card was sent to and he provided ring footage of this woman picking up my debit card. I shared this footage with Chase. Chase is saying because she had my debit card along with the pin, that I authorized these charges and therefore can not get my money back. However, the woman was able to create her own PIN number when she ordered the card. I provided video footage of the woman picking up my card and filed a police report. Chase is still refusing to give my money back. I was able to get the withdrawals back, but not the {$1600.00} in debit card charges.
