XXXX. XXXX XXXX. Rocket Mortgage XXXX of these happenings happened between the time of XXXX, and XXXX of XXXX. I tried to change insurance. Informed Rocket Mortgage that I would be changing and making payments myself and not through escrow. They got in contact with my insurance company and paid XXXX XXXX dollars without my permission, and with explicit disregard for what I had previously told them not to do, to XXXX XXXX for a yearly payment of my inusrance. When instead I had already set up a monthly autopayment for my insurance. They sent the XXXX unbeknownst to me to set it up through escrow. Again, without my knowledge, and expressly against my permission. I then called XXXX XXXX to get the money sent back. The receptionist said " okay it'll be reflected soon on their system '' and I left it at that and waited. It'd been a week and I got worried and called Rocket mortgage. They told me that it wasn't through yet, and assured me the refund would reflect in my bank account. It never showed. I called to make a payment so I wouldn't be late on my mortgage, and even paid towards the balance of the escrow in good faith. It still then didn't change. XXXX XXXX has no recollection apparently of where the money is, or went, and if it was meant to be refunded, when I specifically called to get a refund a a month ago. XXXX hasn't reflected any refunds into my account. XXXX XXXX says they don't know where it is, and Rocket Mortgage. The people that started all of this, are trying to absolve themselves of any wrong doing in the first place, and have begun to impact my credit from late payments. I refuse to pay them. Neither company will come forward and admit wrongdoing. I can't afford to pay the extra they want and my mortgage. Now I'm falling behind in my mortgage payments, and taking hits to my credit. I'm actively taking Rocket Mortgage to small claims court as we speak for the damage to my credit. They haven't received payments, when all other parties say that they have. I'm just caught in the middle of multi-XXXX dollar companies having a fight and am going into debt, and most likely foreclosure, because of it.
