I received an email regarding my student loans being transferred from Mohela to XXXX. I was given an email with the date and to sign him with XXXX before the date. The date was XX/XX/year>. It came and went. I can not sign up with XXXX because there is no account on their end. Mohela says that it may take up to 14-90 days for the transfer. Mohela also said the interest on my loans will continue during this time period ( All communication through phone call ). When I asked Mohela for documentation, they said they do not do that and just re-sent me the initial email about the transfer. I have received the same letter repeatedly when asking them questions about interest, transfer duration, etc. Currently, either provider has my information, I can not make payments, I will accrue interest for this time, and am not getting any support from the providers on either side especially when I have never missed a payment and have good standing. I would expect some type of information but nothing. It seems very suspicious when it was forced on me. Seems like Predatory Lending ....?
