I received a letter in the mail today about my wages being garnished after a judgement was files against me by Portfolio Recovery Services LLC. I never received notice of a court date or of being sued for any unpaid debt. This debt was bought by them in XXXX and I was unaware at the time that I had any debt with them previously. I barely make enough to have food as it is, if they are able to take my wages my daughter and I will barely be able to afford to live. Im terrified and angry that these people think its okay to target low-income families for a debt I was not even able to verify.
