I have submitted an application through XXXX under the total and permanent XXXX ( TPD ) via the department of veterans affairs. I am 100 % TPD. XXXX has processed my application and provided the final decision from the Department of Education on XX/XX/year>. They also told me that an electronic copy was sent to Mohela my loan servicer to process the discharge. The letter was dated XX/XX/year>. I have been unable to get a correct answer from Mohela. Everyone I talked to on the phone has been giving me the run around. I have not gotten a straight answer from Mohela. I have written and called on multiple occasions and I still do not have the correct answer to what happens next since I was approved by Department XXXX XXXX to have my loan be completely XXXX. I have been placed or forbearance until XX/XX/year>. I am afraid that Mohela is holding on discharging my loans as authorized by XXXX of XXXX in order for them to continue to collect on the loan. I have reached out to Mohela on numerous occasions but I get the same answer that they were not notified by XXXX. I have letter to prove otherwise. It has been over 90 days and I still do not know what my next step is. XXXX says to contact Mohela and Mohela tells me to contact XXXX. I am in the middle being pulled by both departments. My complaint is on Mohela. XXXX did its part. Mohela is the company not proceeding with their obligations to complete my loan XXXX as directed by law.
