Consumer Narrative
I had created a payment agreement with an Attorney from Glasser & Glasser ( place debt was transferred to ). This agreement was the 2nd agreement made prior to the court date. The first agreement defaulted, I was not aware that Glasser does not accept accounts that are linked to a prepaid card so the payment withdrawal kept cancelling after the payment defaulted. This happened a few times so they continued the trial for XX/XX/XXXX. I could not reach anyone till day before trail. All of this was last minute but I created the 2nd agreement with an attorney to avoid judgement in the trial that I could not attend. Glasser & Glasser sought a judgement and I was told the Attorney was aware of the previous agreement but they did not share that. They never sent me a notice for the 2nd agreement made XX/XX/XXXX. What they gave me was a proposal document that they claimed was made by me and an attorney after the judgement. They did not note my first payment in the notice and just put next scheduled date as XX/XX/XXXX. On the next page it states a payment was already made but it does not acknowledge that the agreement was made XX/XX/XXXX. Instead they put the date agreement was made. I have been asking for the original 2nd agreement and each time I ask for that they tell me someone will get back to me regarding that. They asked me about my payment for XXXX and continue to ignore my request to speak to someone regarding the agreement made XX/XX/XXXX. I told them I can't continue paying because they made a new agreement after the court date without consulting me on it or sharing that they canceled out the agreement made XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke to someone last week and I was told that an attorney called me XX/XX/XXXX to complete an agreement. I told them an agreement was already made XX/XX/XXXX and I need to speak to someone on why a new agreement was made without my permission It looks like they lied when the 2nd agreement was made but I have proof of payment being on XX/XX/XXXX, which is the day me and Rep I spoke with agreed would be the first date of payment. Every Time I've reached out to Glasser & Glasser regarding this they told me someone will call me back regarding the issue but never get a response. I've been requesting for them to file a motion to vacate judgement based on an agreement previously made. Instead of telling me " no '' or its " not possible '', they have given excuses as to why they have not responded to my motions to vacate judgement. My motions and request has nothing to do with them filing a request to cancel. I've confirmed with 2 reps the date of the 2nd agreement.
