Porfolio Recovery Associates LLC is trying to renew/revive a disputed debt from 2013 that was already contested through the Massachusetts Attorney General 's Office in sometime between XXXX. The AG 's office resolved this issue as I was able to prove that I did not owe this debt. The matter was resolve and all my documentation to prove this is now shredded and disposed as it is over XXXX years ago. Since I didn't owe this money and resolved the matter with our AG 's office, I have not sent money, nor contacted this company. They are illegally trying to revive this contested matter and I am seeking the help of the federal government to step in and enforce the law. I have also filed another complaint with my state AG 's office again today regarding this. The statute in MA is 6 years. This is back on my credit report and it's past the XXXX year federal statute.
