Consumer Narrative
PHEAA invalidated the address once again after they advised me of this on XX/XX/2024 via email. I sent the following message to PHEAA as a result of this, because PHEAA is overextending its allowed actions. At this point, PHEAA should not be invalidating my address for any reason. When PHEAA does this, it begins to open the door for XXXX XXXXXXXX to occur. PHEAA is acting irresponsibly by invalidating my address after all the complaints made against them about this. Again, all mail will continue to be sent back, and PHEAA should not be using that as a reason to claim my address is invalid. PHEAA was also issued a Fair Debt Collection Practices Act notation for the ongoing violation of my rights by the Agency. PHEAA has sent loan information about my loans to people who no longer reside at addresses they have on file. This causes major concern as the addressee who would live at these addresses now could potentially open the mail and steal my information. Even if there is partially masked information, this is irresponsible of the Agency to even consider doing this given that I've communicated with them about NOT doing this on several occasions. -- As of XX/XX/2024, your Agency advised of contact information being invalidated. No contact information has changed since the last time your Agency misrepresented itself by claiming contact information was invalid. You may continue to invalidate the address although your Agency has been informed multiple times that the contact information is correct and will not change unless I reach out to you advising otherwise. These repetitive tactics will only prove that your Agency is operating in a wasteful manner. There is no governmental requirement to invalidate addresses of borrower as a result of receiving mail that is returned for the conveyance of Borrower and Cosigner simply not wanting it. Your agency is running out of reasons to continue doing this. --
