I applied for a Lowes Consumer Credit Card. I provided all of the information they required, including the phone number I have had registered under my own name for the past 8+ years. They ran a hard credit check as part of the application process, which was reported to all XXXX bureaus. However, AFTER running the credit check, they tried sending me an identity verification text, but their system was producing an error. They requested me to provide a different mobile number, which I did, and again their system could not complete the processes. They then denied my application because of their systems failure. I requested that they submit documentation to the credit bureaus asking for the credit pull to be removed, because they did not complete a legitimate application process, and they refused.
