Our mortgage lender ( XXXX XXXX Mortgage, Oklahoma ) XXXX putting our payments into another unknown account at some point. We didnt know until we started the process to sell the house and were told we were in default and going into foreclosure after not paying for several months. We asked them how it is possible. No one knew anything. Finally we were told they could see our payments were made, but they went into another account and did not count toward our mortgage. We called many, many times, and no one could tell us the account the monies went to, why that happened, and they would not track it and apply it to our loan. They stole many payments and refused to give it back and we ended up paying considerably more for our house to sell than we bought it for XXXX years prior because we had to pay them the money that they had already confessed to taking but couldnt find. Our credit has suffered, they refuse to remove it from our reports, and no lender will give us a mortgage. My family has suffered immensely for over a year and a half and my family struggles have made it so we have gotten to point of separating the family. We cant be the only ones they did this to, but after all the fighting and praying, we know that our government has no rules in place with regard to mortgage companies stealing and harming consumers. We have gone through the process of disputes, but the bureaus just say the same thing, that XXXX says they are right. Thats all. No investigation, no questions. Why dispute anything at all?
