Consumer Narrative

On XX/XX/year>, I paid off a balance transfer for XXXX from my personal account. I neglected to cancel the auto-pay associated with the transfer because I was paying off the balance in full. However, Bank of America extracted the auto payment of {$600.00} on XX/XX/year> as scheduled even though the balance was XXXX. I called the bank and closed the account to stop the auto payments from occurring because all of a sudden, I was no longer able to log in to my account to do this myself?! On XX/XX/year>, I received an email from Bank of America that stated, " Your scheduled auto-pay is set for XX/XX/year> ''! The account is closed and was closed before XX/XX/XXXX. I am still not able to log-in to cancel the auto-pay feature which has informed me of another extraction on a XXXX balance on a closed account. This is 100 % White collar theft. I have called the phone number on the back of my card ( XXXX ) XXXX XXXX times now and have spoken to four people about this situation. I am waiting for a refund check for {$600.00} and my last 2 statements to come in the mail. I was told the auto-pay was cancelled and not to worry, until 2 days later when I received the email of the upcoming XX/XX/XXXX extraction. I am still unable to log-in to my account and it's clear to me that B of A has no integrity whatsoever
