Issue : Bank of America providing my personal information to merchant without my consent. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX charged my account as an annual charge that I did not consent to. I have received a new debit card since I initially signed up with XXXX XXXX. They were provided my new card information without my consent by Bank of America. I spoke with a customer service representative who attempted to provide me with the information I requested but could not provide me with the Federal Regulation that allows them to provide my account information to the merchant without my consent. I asked to speak to a supervisor. After XXXX minutes I was transfered to XXXX # XXXX who stated she was a customer service supervisor. She refused to provide me with the information I requested XXXX provide me with the contact information within the bank to get the information. She repeatedly stated it is in the terms and conditions and she would email that to me. I told her that I am asking for the Federal Regulation that allows them to give my personal info without my consent. I then told her to close my account that has been with them since XXXX. She came back and said since it is over this much money I would need to go into a branch. I asked to speak to a supervisor. After XXXX minutes on hold, she disconnects.
