I was traveling overseas in XXXX XXXX last year and lost my wallet at a restaurant while visiting a friend. I reported this immediately to Chase the next day when I realized this and called the restaurant to ask if anyone picked up my card. I received notice that my wallet was found. I went to get my wallet but noticed a large transaction had occurred on XX/XX/year> totaling {$1700.00} while it was lost. I told Chase about this and said that it wasn't me. I also told Chase that this was the only credit card I had overseas and that I would be overseas for another XXXX weeks and asked if it was ok to keep using this card and get it replaced when I returned. The Chase representative said that was fine. When I returned after a few weeks the Chase team that was overseeing my dispute said that it was not fraud since I had kept on using the card even though I reported it as fraud and asked permission to keep using it. In addition, I had said that I never have had a transaction this large and I provided photo evidence of me texting friends on that date saying that I had lost my card and photo evidence of me calling the restaurant. After 6 months I have still not had a resolution from them even after long waiting times and being confused at which team I was talking to. In addition, I have gotten very angry and confrontative phone calls directly from Chase employees regrading this matter. Please help.
