On my XXXX statement I was assessed {$1.00} paper statement fee. We do not use our Lowe 's credit card each month or carry a balance - an electronic statement would only get lost in an already too full email account - that I may or may not even know to look for since we do not use this card frequently - thus we could incur late fees. A paper statement fee feels like a junk fee that credit card companies should not be able to access consumers. This is a terrible customer service experience and such a petty way to lose long time customers. We choose Lowe 's over XXXX XXXX because of the XXXX % off when using the Lowe 's credit card, but if we are forced to use our personal credit card to avoid a paper statement fee than that puts Lowe 's and XXXX XXXX on a level playing field, so we will choose XXXX XXXX. These types of fees may seem nominal to the company, but no one likes to be nickeled and dimed with fees- very poor business decision on their part.
