Long story short I'm a victim of XXXX fraud during covid pandemic when I had no luck in reaching XXXX at the time I was told to call bank of America and file a dispute so I did around XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX I filed two claims totaling over {$19000.00}. I was denied and have been denied several times since then I have submitted police reports and letters and documents from other bank Institutions that I had also filed claims with in the same time period that also were compromised, 3 other banks and a credit profile showing that I disputed a XXXX account that was in my name that was taken off my report all in the same time period surrounding COVID pandemic, I even proposed that it would be fair if a portion of my benefits were given back to me from transactions that are easier I guess to prove they were fraudulent but the lo.ger this goes on I feel like why should I settle at all for a less amount im the victim here and it was my money that was stolen why am I settling for way less I had proposed {$5000.00} or {$6000.00} opposed to over {$19000.00}. That were taken. The only reason I've been given is that they feel that my self or someone I authorized had done the transactions and that the debit card used at the time of transactions was the same address I had on file. Which is t true I immediately changed the address in the first phone call to bank of America. I also had confirmed they XXXX that never once did anyone at anytime as me ( alleged me ) verify my identity making all that much easier for someone to continue to take from me.
