On XX/XX/2024 i received an alert from XXXX XXXX regarding a decrease in limit from Synchrony/Amazon , which said my limit will be lower from {$600.00} to {$310.00}. This now leave me with {$15.00}. I have always paid on time and above the minimum payment. The letter said I had no real estate, collections and high limits, which was on my credit report when I applied over a year ago. This also plummets my credit score because my debt to ratio now is over 85 %. I have {$290.00}, my limit was {$600.00} and NOW its decreased to {$310.00}, with a {$290.00} balance with {$15.00} left. This is unacceptable and my credit limit needs to be at {$600.00} again. This is a bullying tactic to forcible close my card like they did with my XXXX XXXX because I didn't use it for six months. This act plunged my credit score by XXXX points. Synchrony is doing it AGAIN! When you answer if you are XXXX, which I am this is a disservice to XXXX and XXXX Americans. Studies have shown XXXX and XXXX Americans have a hard time getting approved, maintaining and getting credit increases. This is not acceptable behavior following the Truth in Lending Act. Now my credit score with be affected again with only {$15.00} left to spend.
