Consumer Narrative
The Bank of America Corporate Center XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NC XXXX Dear sir, My son, XXXX XXXX, with whom I have a joint account, contacted me something about overdraft to cause an alert and check my accounts online. The overdraft protection was performed to our joint account. I checked my account ending XXXX. I found two overdraft protection which went to accounts ending XXXX and XXXX. Both transactions were considered under the term of overdraft protection. However, I found out 2 transactions, which were deduced {$30.00} twice. The descriptions of one transaction were overdraft transfer hold to account # XXXX and another one was Debit/hold on XX/XX/20. I can understand overdraft transfer hold to acct # XXXX ; however, my account XXXX should have overdraft protection, instead of overdraft alert, because of combined tiers of accounts. Therefore, this charge of {$30.00} should be void. And another {$30.00} charge, which description was debit/hold on XX/XX/20, is honestly unclear ; because I did not use debit card, and this account ending XXXX is a saving account not checking account. And my account ending XXXX has pending credit {$30.00} on XX/XX/20, which I do not know how to understand in total. I just need your explanation on entire transactions written above. Sincerely,
