I took out a credit card from Bank of America for me and my son to use as authorized individuals. The limit to be borrowed on the credit card was set by Bank of America at {$11000.00} and I agreed to that limit. Subsequently, my son, who is emotionally challenged and became XXXX, made thousands of dollars of purchases in excess of the agreed-upon limit, up to over {$19000.00}. These purchases occurred in XXXX and XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX I was never notified that he had exceeded the {$11000.00} limit, and was unaware of the extent of the excess until the XXXX statement arrived. The purchases and dates are so many that it is not practical to list them individually here. Rather, I have attached the relevant bank statements, which detail the purchases, the amounts, and the dates of the purchases. I am also attaching the letter my husband sent to Bank of America outlining the facts in this case, as well as the relevant portion of the Credit Card Agreement, the terms of which were set by Bank of America and agreed to by me, as evidenced by my use of the card after reading the Agreement.
