I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was on XXXX XXXX XXXX for XXXX days from XXXX XX/XX/2024 to XXXX XX/XX/2024. I opened a Citi AAdvantage Executive credit card account on XXXX XX/XX/2024. I also requested to have XXXX protections applied to my account. Citi claims I am not a qualified borrower, despite me sending them copies of my orders multiple times and even pointing out where on the XXXX it states that I am a qualified borrower because I was on orders for more and 30 consecutive days. They also claim that I was not on XXXX XXXX when I opened the account, despite me sending them my orders multiple times. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX under a call or order that does not specify a period of 30 days or less, or such a member serving on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX as that term is defined in 10 U.S.C . 101 ( d ) ( 6 ). I keep sending in an application for XXXX and it keeps getting denied. The people I speak with over the phone refuse to give me additional information, the only thing the do I read me what it says on the denial letter. They also tell me that I may no speak to the people in charge of reviewing the account. What they are doing is not fair... specially when there is a law that is supposed to protect service members.
