I started receiving late fees at the beginning of XXXX of XXXX. My same payments have been delivered consistently for months. From what I see, when my bank says they delivered the payments ( which are automatic and occur every month ), the posting on Synchrony 's app happens at the same time. The issue is, they're charging me late fees based on the time it takes THEM to process my account. I have proof from my bank, on the dates the transaction happens, and when the payment was delivered and they have matched up to the dates on Synchrony 's mobile app. Except, in XXXX, my payment was delivered by the XXXX of XXXX, the due date is the XXXX, and Synchrony processed it on the XXXX, thereby charging me a late fee. Because of this late charge on their end, they've continued to charge me late fees every month as a result. Again, when I review Synchrony 's mobile app, every date that they have received my payment matches to my bank account directly and I can provide this proof. However, i'm being punished because they processed a payment, that they've had since the XXXX, on the XXXX, when my due date is the XXXX. I also had this issue last year. I was paying them on their due date, and every month, they received the bill from me on their due date. However, even though dates aligned from what I can see, I've been charged months worth of late payments because I didn't send them their payment at the beginning of the month. This all sounds very questionable to me. I would have liked to see the differences from last year too, but I can only view up to XX/XX/XXXX through the mobile app unless I request to go paperless, but I really don't trust this bank at this point.
