To Whom It May Concern, We would like to enact our right to dispute the goods and/or services purchased using our payment card. The following statements are true : The purchase was made in our home state of Arizona and is greater than {$50.00}. We used this payment card for purchase. We have not fully paid for the purchase. Summary of Details Contract for {$16000.00} for bathroom remodel signed. The duration of the project was quoted at XXXX days. Per the contract, installation typically begins XXXX weeks after the contract is signed. Due to supply shortage, the project was slated to begin in XXXX XXXX ( XXXX weeks from the date of contract ) with the customer signing off on this agreement. Summary of Project Following XXXX inspection and review of project scope, project to begin XX/XX/XXXX with removal and reinstall of new window. Window install and stucco work actually took place on XXXX XXXX XXXX. Bathroom demolition began on XX/XX/XXXX. After XXXX failed installation attempts, including XXXX water leaks, the bathroom installation was completed about XX/XX/XXXX ( XXXX days from the initial project start ). Customer Compromises Window : Contract called for a XXXX window to be installed. We were advised in XXXX that that was a special order item and if required would delay our project start by an additional XXXX weeks. We were asked to sign a change order accepting a smaller window XXXX. Why wasnt the window ordered in XX/XX/XXXX when the contract was signed. Drain : Our contract called for a linear drain. During the project scope review, we were advised the contractor does not install linear drains due to the product manufacturer requirements. We would have to accept a center drain. Shower Pan : Our contract called for a no/zero barrier. During the project scope review, we were advised the shower pan was low barrier not no/zero barrier and a ramp would be included to allow for accessibility. The contractor advised the no/zero barrier would be possible however it would require the contractor to dig into the foundation to remove concrete and extend the duration of our project. Financial Summary of Events XX/XX/XXXX : Original Contract Signed for {$16000.00} XX/XX/XXXX : Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX | Purchase Balance {$8300.00} Received monthly statement from GreenSky. The statement reflected a credit of {$8300.00}. This coincided with the dates of our XXXX inspection, scope of work meetings and compromises. We recognized this is a price consideration/reduction for the delay in the project and accepted compromises. We attempted several times to have this confirmed by GreenSky and XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX : Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX | Purchase Balance {$8300.00} XX/XX/XXXX : Project complete XX/XX/XXXX : Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX | Purchase Balance {$8300.00} XX/XX/XXXX : After several email exchanges, finally connected with XXXX ( XXXX ). She advised that she had been authorized to offer us a {$1000.00} discount off of our project and confirmed our new balance was {$7300.00}. We accepted the additional {$1000.00} discount with the consideration that the price had been adjusted previously from {$16000.00} to {$8300.00}. We asked several times to receive a copy of a revised invoice/statement. XX/XX/XXXX : Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX | Purchase Balance {$8300.00} XXXX : Statement stating our Balance is {$0.00} Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX : Letter from GreenSky indicating an account activity update ( no other information. ) XX/XX/XXXX : Begin receiving emails from XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) pressuring us to activate our GreenSky account. With the original contract being signed in XX/XX/XXXX, we were advised that our line of credit/account needed to be resubmitted. We activated our account for {$7300.00} ( via text app ). After activating XXXX advises that our account is still blocked. We confirm with GreenSky that the account is active. Several days later we received a request to approve charges from XXXX for an additional {$9300.00}. We refuse the additional charge request. We resend XXXX an email stating the amounts due as we understand them. We learned during our correspondence with GreenSky that XXXX had drawn {$8300.00} credit against our project in XXXX XXXX XXXX GreenSky shows this as a credit on our account beginning in XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX : Statement stating our balance is {$8300.00} Account Number : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX : Account Number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX | Purchase Balance : {$14000.00} XXXX : Unsuccessful attempts with and GreenSky to connect. XXXX : Monthly Statements reflecting Account Number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX | Purchase Balance : {$14000.00} We have made several attempts to contact XXXX ( the Vendor ), including going to their showroom. We have had no return calls and their showroom appears to be vacated. We were advised by Greensky that our original loan documents, signed and approved in XX/XX/XXXX were void due to the purchase window approved on our credit limit. In XX/XX/XXXX, when asked to reapply for our credit limit, the agreed limit was {$7300.00}. In closing considering the debacle of the services, installation and product delivery, we are agreeable to the loan amount of {$7300.00}. We would like to see these updates reflected on our next statement in XXXX so we may begin making payments. Thank you for your time and consideration.
