To whom it may concern : I need to file a complaint with SPS. The application of the funds received from the Illinois Homeowner Assistance Program was not applied correctly. Per attached, the property XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, IL received {$11000.00} to be applied to the past due delinquency for the mortgage. XX/XX/XXXX. I was notified in XX/XX/XXXX that SPS is trying to collect {$2900.00} of advanced expenses to me as the homeowner even though SPS received the funds from the Illinois Homeowner Assistance Program that covered past due delinquency and all fees included. The {$2900.00} was included in the {$11000.00} from the State of Illinois. This discrepancy is causing a lot of confusion and is hurting me as a consumer due to SPS failure to properly apply the funds. I am requesting a full investigation into what happened to the funds received from the Illinois Homeowner Assistance Fund.
