There is a charge that was posted to my account on or about XX/XX/2023 a charge by XXXX XXXX posted to my account in the amount of {$360.00}. This charge was not authorized by me. I did not give consent to make such a charge to my account. Furthermore, " XXXX XXXX '' did not provide me with any goods or services. I made 3 attempts to contact this merchant to resolve this issue, they never responded. I then disputed the charge with Synchrony. The dispute process resulted in no response by the merchant and Synchrony did not provide any documentation showing that the charge was authorized or valid. In fact, Synchrony did not respond with any information at all. Instead Synchrony proceed to put the charge back on my account, then make debt collection attempts and threats, charging interest, late fees and harassing me to pay a debt which i reported as fraud. I made a second dispute and brought to their attention that they are making demands for payment on a charge that has been reported to them as fraudulent. They reversed the charge, then refunded the account. They also issued a new card. However, they did not resolve the issue, they instead re-posted the fraudulent charge back to the card a couple months later. Like the first dispute, Synchrony did not provide any proof whatsoever that the charge is valid in any way, shape or form. They merely posted a charge which I have made absolutely clear to them, that " I DID NOT AUTHORIZED '' and secondly " NO SERVICES OR GOODS WERE PROVIDED TO ME ''. The charge is fraud and I am a victim which Synchrony has aided and abetted in taking from me. Under Threat, Duress and Protest i paid Synchrony because they have already demonstrated to me that they will cause harm to me and my credit if I did not pay them this fraudulent charge. Also they are on notice that I intent to report them to FTC and CFPB, which obviously they appear to not care about. Again : The Charge in the amount of {$360.00} is in dispute ; I declare said charge is fraud ; and said charge is without my consent for which I did not receive any goods or services. Bottom line, when a charge is reported as fraud, and the victim is telling you that no services or goods were provided and/or authorize said charge ; i believe that Synchrony as a fiduciary of a credit card account has a legal duty and obligation to go above and beyond to resolve this matter and not just carelessly continue to make payment demands and debt collection attempts on a charge that is in dispute and declared as fraud. [ Take Notice : upon request or should this proceed to litigation, i intend put this statement in affidavit form. ]
