I simply want a Graduated Extended payment plan for my very large Parent PLUS loans -approx {$200000.00}. It does not require a particular income and does not involve forgiveness of any kind. I had one for my own student loans and it was granted as a matter of course. Mohela is treating it as a kind of forbearance or forgiveness plan and requires income information, which I have provided, but which is not necessary. Here are the dates of my previous applications and Mohela 's responses so far. I will begin monthly payments as soon as the XXXX XXXX plan is approved. Appplication date : XX/XX/XXXX - as soon as Mohela notified me of the upcoming payment amounts for XX/XX/XXXX. Response : XX/XX/XXXX : " Your loan ( s ) are not currently in repayment. You may reapply once your loans are in repayment. '' Application date : XX/XX/XXXX. Response XX/XX/XXXX : " Your loan ( s ) are not currently in repayment. You may reapply once your loans are in repayment. '' My loan was on an administrative forbearance until XX/XX/XXXX because Mohela was late in sending the XX/XX/XXXX bill, I believe. The customer service representatives are not empowered to help, they just say the application is " processing.
