I received a call from this company stating they contacted me via mail. I had not received anything from them saying I owed a bill on the apartment I had just moved from. I asked for the company 's name, and the lady I spoke with did not provide the information, so I ended the call. I called back a few days later and talked to another person to try to verify the company again. This lady was vulgar ; I only asked for the company 's name and if I could make online payments. I informed her that I was not making any payments until I could verify they were legitimate companies. This woman was vulgar and loud and continued to cut me off as I spoke ; she made multiple threats that she would report this on my credit if I were not going to pay her in full. I never told her I would not pay ; I only asked that she stop being rude and trying to intimidate me. She got angry and loud and then abruptly transferred my call to the first lady who made the initial phone call to me. Recently, I received another call from the same company from a young man named XXXX ; he called from a spoof number with a XXXX area code ( XXXX ). He then informed me that the company 's name was IQ Data International and that the company 's number was XXXX EXT XXXX. I asked him for a website to verify the information, and he became vulgar and aggressive in his tone ; he started yelling. I asked him not to, and he toned down for a moment, escalated again, and demanded payment. I told him I was willing to pay but wanted to verify the company first, and our conversation ended with me ending the call. He was combative in his discussion and continued to over-talk me.
