On XX/XX/2023, someone hacked into my credit card and charged {$470.00} for XXXX XXXX AND XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. A foreign transaction fee for {$14.00} was also charged. I have never been out of the United States, I did not authorize this charge. I have called Bank of America multiple times reporting this as fraud. They claim that their is proof of identity that it was me who authorized this charge. I in fact DID NOT. I have other foreign charges on other credit cards that have always been resolved, but I can not get Bank of America to understand it was not me. Now my credit score has decreased bc I refuse to pay for these charges that I reported as fraudulent. I am now considering to start paying for these charges so that my credit score increases over time. I have closed my account with Bank of America, therefore I am not able to log in online to make any payments. My balance keeps increasing because of late charges. This is so unfair because these charges were made by someone in XXXX. I have never been out of the USA.
