I have had a Chase Amazon Visa credit card issued by XXXX XXXX years ago. I made many purchases through XXXX over the years. In 2022 I made the huge mistake of accepting the 30 day trial period of XXXX XXXX streaming video and reduced shipping charges and used my card to pay for a second month. Then I terminated the XXXX portion of XXXX. During last fall, the XXXX monthly subscription charge was put onto the card without my permission. I saw this in emails. I called the number on the Chase Amazon Visa card and was asked by menu if this was a XXXX problem. Got in touch with XXXX and the XXXX account charge was reduced to half the billed amount. I wanted it all removed. I called Chase card customer service. I got the rest of the bad charge taken off the card billing. Next month, it happened again, another monthly subscription charge to XXXX. Again I called XXXX and half the charge was removed. I was issued a new card, new number. I guess XXXX and XXXX were notified of the card number change. Again I called and I was transferred to Chase customer service. I explained the repeated bad charge, and again all was removed. I got another card from Chase, another Amazon Visa. Next month I had to go through the process twice more, about a week apart. I submitted a complaint by email to Investor Relations at the corporate offices. I think it must have been passed around. I got a call from someone at " Executive Customer Service ''. I explained, and I was assured it would not happen again. I made sure that it would not by removing all payment options from my XXXX account. And I do not use the last issued Chase ( No longer " XXXX '' but maintains the smiley logo ) Visa card. So I can no longer buy anything through XXXX. Onwards to XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, etc. Through my extensive efforts, I lost no money. But I have no doubt that thousands of others have.
