XX/XX/XXXX : I was staying at the XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX. I felt not only that its rates were too high, but incidentals were added to the base rate. So, on XX/XX/XXXX, I call around for a cheaper place to live. I called XXXX but the call was intercepted by a booking agency. The agent whom I spoke to said the agency represented XXXX. I asked for a quote and the agent quoted me {$1000.00}. When I decided to book, the quote was no longer {$1000.00}, but {$1900.00}. I protested and the agent told me that she has to bring the tape of the reservation conversation to " upper management ''. She said " upper management '' would listen to the tapes and decide. She'll call me back with their decision within a few hours. I knew that was a lie. More than 3 hrs. passed, affirming my That too was a lie. It was Sunday ; plus, the evening was rolling in. Without a decision on the tape, to me, XXXX reservation had ended. To the booking agent and XXXX, it had just begun. The two colluded to book me at {$1900.00} without ever notifying me, without my authorization. I never agreed to a rate ; I never signed any papers. There was never a " meeting of minds ''. Nevertheless, on XX/XX/XXXX a charge of {$1900.00} appeared on my XXXX checking account statement. It was reversed XX/XX/XXXX ; and a complaint was filed. On XX/XX/XXXX, it was reversed again, meaning I had lost the case. I should never had lost because I provided the preponderance of truthful evidence ; XXXX, on the other hand, produced fake documents. XXXX sided with XXXX. I asked XXXX : Why would I booked and moved to XXXX at a higher rate than the XXXX was charging. That defies logic. XXXX did not answer, avoiding self-incrimination as idiots. Also, defying logic was my paying for two rooms for one person.
