Synchrony Financial is the holder of Lowe 's consumer credit card. I paid my Lowe 's credit card bill of {$90.00} at Lowe 's store XXXX XXXX. The bill was not due till XX/XX/XXXX. Synchrony lost the payment. I got emails that I missed a payment, and I paid the amounts they said that I owe. Which amounted to over payment that I later got back. I filed a missing payment form with a copy of the check. They charged {$30.00} late fee and {$4.00} interest. They returned the late fee after holding it for80 days. They returned interest of only {$1.00} and they returned {$90.00} which they held for 78 days. They do not follow their own guidelines on the amount of time and procedures for investigating Lowe 's Executive Customer Relations Rep XXXX XXXX has contacted them about this. My money is just as valuable to me as their money is to them.
