XX/XX/XXXX XXXX I noticed a fraudulent charge of {$7400.00} on my credit card statement. I immediately notified Citibank and was told that I would not be responsible for the charge. I called a second time that day when I did not see an immediate reversal on my account. I was again told I would not be responsible. In XXXX, Citibank automatically renewed my card membership. XXXX XXXX I noticed the same charge on my account with the same amount from the same vendor. I went to a local Citibank branch and spoke with the manager. I was told to contact the fraud department again after reporting the unauthorized charge a third time. I again spoke with the fraud department and let them know that this charge was fraudulent and not authorized ( for the fourth time ). I was told that the vendor had not been paid and I was not responsible for the charge. I was told I would not see the charge on my statement again. I did not see any sort of reversal despite numerous reports to Citibank, so I immediately contacted an attorney, who sent a letter to Citibank on XX/XX/XXXX demanding the information I inquired regarding the charge. Citibank did not respond to the attorney. Please help.
