My credit card application with Synchrony Bank ( Website : XXXX XXXX XXXX ) was denied with no explanation. Called Synchrony and the first rep said it was denied because I also had a credit card application pending with Synchronicity for a different retailer ( XXXX XXXX ), and they could help fix that if I went back to the store and had them re-input the application. Went to Lowe 's store and they re-input the application- which wad denied again by Synchronicity, no explanation. Called Synchrony again and spoke to supervisor, who could not explain why it was denied. I explained to the supervisor that have perfect credit - XXXX XXXXXXXX, own my home, virtually no debt at all, never bankrupt or defaulted on a loan, never made a late payment, net worth close to {>= $1,000,000} - and asked what to do. She said there's nothing that can be done. I asked if it was because of the XXXX XXXX application, which is still pending, and she said again that she didn't know why it was denied and could not help. - the supervisor claimed the system auto-denied my application for unknown reasons. So, Synchrony Bank : 1. Improperly denied credit, apparently due to their error. ( application for different retailer pending ) 2. Provided incorrect, intentionally false, and conflicting information to me about the denial and how it could be remedied. 3. Has no complaint process, no appeal process, no remedy for credit denials. 4. Incorrectly told me to re-apply 4 times, resulting in 4 more credit denials and possible damage to my PERFECT credit rating.
