Hello, I filed a complaint last Spring in regard to Portfolio Recovery a debt collection agency for XXXX XXXX Bank. Complaint # XXXX. Please see previous complaint below. I received a letter from Portfolio Recovery Associates that I owe XXXX for a card from XXXX. I explained that this card or one of 2 accounts is fraud, because I only had one XXXX XXXXXXXX card that I authorized and used in the amount of XXXX and I am currently paying that debt with another company, XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX who is the Legal representative for XXXX XXXX. That amount is XXXX. I am being harassed for an acct that has not been active since XXXX, 7 years ago. I was told Portfolio Recovery sent many letters to old address that have I have not lived in years, both of which I moved due getting robbed of mail and personal BELONGINGS. Someone may have opened the account at that time without my knowledge or permission. The debt of fraud refers to acct # XXXX. The case was closed. I received a prior response from you all and mailed to them. The card is over XXXX XXXX XXXX. I paid a debt to another XXXX XXXXXXXX card via XXXX XXXX XXXX that I know I was responsible for. However, this company XXXX Portfolio Recovery ) has again started mailing me to pay a debt of {$5800.00}. I didn't hear from them after I mailed the results of your agency 's response. As of today XX/XX/XXXX, I am once again receiving these letters and phone calls. I do not feel I am responsible considering this was a fraud, I believe I was robbed at an old address as stated in the previous complaint, I have never had 2 XXXX XXXX credit cards with a XXXX limit. Also, this card has past the timeline for collection. Please assist in anyway as this is harassment. I will send any supporting documentation if needed. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX
