Consumer Narrative
I bought XXXX item on XXXX. I asked my bank to wire transfer on XX/XX/year> at XXXX, I then realized I was being scammed at XXXX on XX/XX/year> I contacted XXXX Bank and XXXX to reverse and stop the wires from going through. Then I attempted to call both receiving banks to let the know that this was a scam and not deposit the funds in the accounts. I had no luck talking to the banks and they would not discuss because I wasnt the bank and didnt have an account with their bank. I then reported this to the FBI and state bureau of investigation. The first wire was {$27000.00} going to Bank of America. Wire number XXXX. The second wire was {$24000.00} going to XXXX XXXX, XXXX Bank, wire number XXXX.
